[Eggless] Mocha Ice Cream

If you’re a chocolate-coffee lover, you’ll adore this “Mocha Ice Cream” recipe.  Rich, creamy and full of chocolate-espresso flavor … store-bought mocha ice cream will be a thing of the past.  The best part?  No eggs and no ice cream maker needed.

What you’ll need to yield one quart:

  • 2 tbsp instant espresso (Starbucks VIA Italian Roast also works very well)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 4 oz chopped chocolate (I use a 60% Black & Green)
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/16 tsp cayenne pepper (ground)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla paste
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
